Hovering Flight sounds like it has quite a bit going on inside the covers. I think I missed your review the first time around and am glad for the chance to go back and read it. I like books about relationships and how they grow and change over the years. I admit that the mention of the one character's dip into extremism caught my eye too.

Please enter me! Thanks!

This book sounds fascinating. I would enjoy reading about all the ups and downs in the relationships between these people and how Addie's death impacts them.

I would also be very interested to see how Addie's venture into extremist causes impacts her family and friends.

I'd love to read this book. I am not a birder but some of my favorite memories of my grandmother are standing at her windows watching the birds at the bird feeders she had hanging in every tree. She knew so many of them and always had her Audubon guide to pull out when a new, unrecognized visitor appeared. :-)

For so many reasons I'd love to win this book. I loved your review. I've had my own battle with cancer, I love birds and have several feeders in my yard. It's so exciting to see our feathered friends enjoying the treats I put out for them. They honor us with their songs and amuse us with their antics. I also loved the Jersy Shore when I had the opportunity to visit a few years ago. It's on my list of places I'd like to visit again. Please enter me for this book.

About Me

My photo
New Hampshire, United States
Bibliophile, Anglophile, Traveller... I have been an avid reader all of my life, since I took the Dr. Seuss Dictionary away from my Mom when I was less than a year old because I wanted to read it myself. In college, where I earned my degree in English Literature, I was often asked "What are you going to do with it?" Now I finally have the answer to that question!!! Being employed as a Flight Attendant for twenty years has given me a lot of life experience and, better still, a lot of time to read. I love to travel for fun, too.
